US Republican party’s presumptive nominee Donald Trump’s support has surged in recent days and is almost at par with Democratic party’s front runner Hillary Clinton according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday. A very close fight is expected on November 8.
Survey result shows that 41% of likely voters support Clinton where as 40% are backing Trump whereas 19% are undecided. The margin of error is 3%. A few weeks ago Clinton had double digit lead in lower tens. Nearly half of Bernie Sanders supporters are not happy with Clinton and are willing to cast their vote for Trump.
The majority of voters don’t trust either of the candidates when it comes to managing the U.S. economy, handling the role of U.S. commander-in-chief.
